The restaurant is a converted fisherman’s bait shed and situated directly on Fort William’s Town pier. You’ll not be surprised to hear that seafood and fish are the real stars here. Oh, and did we mention the fantastic loch views. The Crannog is within easy walking distance from our Bed and Breakfast and easily recognized because of the distinctive red roofs.

Nevis Range Mountain Resort

Nevis Range is a year round mountain ski resort. The resort is 7 miles north of Fort William and sits on the mountain of Aonach Mor, the eighth highest in Britain. Its not all about skiing though, that is only a small part of what happens on the hill. The resort is reached by Britain’s only Mountain Gondola, The gondola effortlessly transports you from 300ft up to 2150ft on the north face of Aonach Mor, the journey takes approximately 12 – 15 minutes and allows breathtaking views of the Scottish Highlands. Booking a Room

A credit card can be used to secure a room, payment can be made by cash, cheque or credit card (Visa, Mastercard) on departure. There is an ATM located 5 minutes walk away from Ashburn House.


Confirmed reservations cancelled within 7 days of arrival are liable to be charged the full price of the booking.

Guests are advised to have holiday insurance.
