The Crannog is a favourite Fort William restaurant of ours and is renowned for its quality and style. The restaurant is a converted fisherman’s bait shed and situated directly on Fort William’s Town pier. You’ll not be surprised to hear that seafood and fish are the real stars here. Oh, and did we mention the fantastic loch views. The Crannog is within easy walking distance from our Bed and Breakfast and easily recognized because of the distinctive red roofs.

The Crannog Restaurant – relaxed fine dining, for over 25 years they have been passionate about bringing the freshest Scottish seafood to their guests dinner plates. The constantly changing menu bases itself on the best local catches of the day. You can expect classics like mussels and salmon, but they are often joined on the menu with king scallops, langoustines, halibut or surf clams to name but a few. Equally tasty non fish and vegetarian dishes are also available. Almost all our bed and breakfast guests visit this restaurant at least once during their stay in Fort William.

There is a also daily changing lunch menu, influenced on produce availability. Another favourite with our guests is to combine a loch cruise with lunch, for more details visit the Crannog website.
