The Most Important Meal of the Day
Breakfast with a view at Ashburn House Bed and Breakfast. Our breakfast will set you up for the day and is served at individual tables in our dining room, overlooking Loch Linnhe, served between 8am – 9am and earlier by prior arrangement. We can also provide a packed breakfast for very early risers!. All served with brown or white toast, homemade scones, jams & marmalade or Heather honey, plus a choice of teas or freshly ground cafetiere coffee.
Our ambition at Ashburn House is to source the best local produce and use Scottish products as and when available, thereby providing guaranteed freshness and reducing food miles. Our main supplier is local butcher, John MacMillan, the oldest serving butcher in Fort William. He makes and provides us with all our bacon, his own recipe sausages, black and white puddings and haggis. Our fish comes from another local supplier, Iain Stewart, who sources fresh fish daily from the port of Mallaig, fresh off the boat. We use Scottish fruit and berries when seasonally available. Our local supermarket supplies us with free range eggs, butter and cheese, all Scottish of course. Homemade scones, shortbread and preserves are also on offer from original Scottish recipes.
